Pizza Hut & ANGUS CHIANG Team up to Create the Most Gleaming 'HOT Taiwanese Flavor' Grand Fashion Blockbuster《Foodshion Collection》

The exhibition《Foodshion Collection》 with Taiwan's unique food culture as inspiration to create three series of 'HOT Taiwanese Flavor' fashion looks for a mind-blowing fashion blockbuster. By boldly incorporating and re-inventing iconic cultural symbols, the exhibition aims to convey the local humor and culture to the public. ANGUS CHIANG tapped into the childhood memories to extract the three most comforting and sentimental Taiwanese dishes — hand-shaken drinks, late-night snacks, and seasonal tonic soups. These "vessels of classic local cuisine" are the stars of the show, while many other details serve as the cherry on top.

Taking pizza's round shape as the basic design concept, the props evoke the iconography of the most common round containers of Taiwanese cuisine—plates, casseroles, and cups. Models dressed in pizza-inspired fashion posed with the three containers. Their interactions and natural contrast present the quintessential integration of pizza and Taiwanese cuisine. These images converge into a creative show combining pizza and fashion.

『Seesaw』, another important facility in AC PARK, is a spiritual symbol of ANGUS CHIANG's co-creation with different brands and artists. The image of the seesaw conveys balance, interaction and harmony. There must be loads on both sides before this facility can be activated. In the process of up-and-down communication and interaction, it’s as if the two sides are shaking each other's uniqueness through the balance principle of the seesaw, and then fusing together. That’s how ANGUS CHIANG and his/her artworks emerged.
